Based on true events, Adrift follows the story of Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp, two avid sailors who happen to be deeply in love.
In 1983, the two set out on an ocean adventure that turns out to be much more than what they had bargained for when they sail directly into the path of a raging hurricane.

After the storm subsides, Tami gains consciousness to find herself in the drifting wreckage of what remained of their boat, with Richard seriously injured.

Tami must now find the courage and will to save herself and the love of her life from a tragic end in the open sea.

Adrift tells the story of courage in the face of adversity; of the tenacity of the human spirit; and, above all, the boundless power of love.

Written by Aaron Kandel, Jordan Kandel, and David Branson Smith, and directed by Baltasar Kormákur, the film is set to release on June 1.

Shailene Woodley (Fault in Our Stars, Divergent films) portrays the character of Oldham, while Sam Claflin (Me Before You, The Hunger Games films) plays Sharp.

Jeffrey Thomas and Elizabeth Hawthorne also star in the film.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau couldn’t have been more correct when he said: “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.”

Thirteen years of “bitter” patience by fans of Pixar’s 2004 animated superhero film, THE INCREDIBLES, has indeed been rewarded with the sweetest of fruits in the form of a direct sequel – INCREDIBLES 2

It would be rather naive of us to expect to learn everything about the plot of INCREDIBLES 2 from the 3.31-minute trailer, other than the fact that this time around, Baby Jack-Jack will have extraordinary powers – a super baby if you will.

Even that is no surprise because, at the end of 2004 original, Baby Jack-Jack begins to manifest some of these powers after he is kidnapped by supervillain – Syndrome.

Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter return to lend their voices to Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible and his wife Helen Parr/Elastigirl, respectively.

Their daughter Violet Parr, who can turn invisible, is being voiced-over by Sarah Vowel.

The film has been written and directed by Brad Bird, while Michael Giacchino is providing the music once again.

The voice cast of Incredibles2 includes Holly Hunter as Helen Parr/Elastigirl; Craig T Nelson as Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible; Sarah Vowell as Violet Parr; Huck Milner as Dashiell “Dash” Robert Parr; Samuel L Jackson as The Underminer; and others.

When THE INCREDIBLES released in 2004, not only did the film exceed expectations by grossing beyond $600 million at the world box office, it also received much critical acclaim and won two Oscars and an Annie Award for Best Animated Feature.

The fourth installment in the Predator series, The Predator – or Predator 4, as many are calling it – is supposed to be based on events that happen between the second and the third films in the Predator franchise – Predator (1990) and Predators (2010), respectively.

A Shane Black-directed film, The Predator follows the story of the universe’s most deadly hunters whose return to earth is inadvertently triggered by a young boy.

This time around, though, the killers from the outer recesses of the universe are far more powerful; deadlier than ever; and much smarter, having genetically enhanced their lethal skills using the DNA from other species.

It is, now, left to a resentful science teacher and a handful of ex-soldiers to stop these otherworldly assassins from blazing a trail of death and destruction on the planet.

Written by Fred Dekker and Shane Black, the film is based on the characters created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas and is scheduled for a September 14 release.

The film features Boyd Holbrook as Quinn McKenna, Trevante Rhodes as Nebraska Williams and Jacob Tremblay as Rory McKenna.

Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Thomas Jane Yvonne Strahovski Jake Busey, Edward James Olmos and Niall Matter also star in this science fiction horror.
