Officially the trailer of Spider-man: Homecoming is out and is expected to spin its web effective July 7, 2017, when it’s due to hit the theaters. Yes, for the true Spider-man fans July 7 couldn’t be farther away – for the time being they have to make do with the trailer, which in fact, may make the wait worth their while.
After his impressive debut in Captain America: Civil War, British actor Tom Holland as the new Peter Parker adds a breath of fresh air to the role, more so because he looks rather realistic and convincing as a high school student, exasperated at being stuck in school while there is the world out there waiting to benefit from his super-human spidery antics.
However, as far as dreamy infatuations over girls are concerned he is every bit a high school kid like anybody else.
The trailer takes you through a fight sequence where he interrupts a bank robbery in progress – the action and cinematic effects are just awesome with a touch of humor to go with the superlative cinematography.
The trailer does give you the ‘edge of the seat’ feeling – it’s going to be a totally different Spiderman experience for the audiences all over the world – there is definitely a wow factor to it!
Michael Keaton as ‘Vulture’, the villain, looks more than menacing and Peter Parker’s mentor Tony Sark, played by Robert Downey Jr. is a good touch. I am sure watching the official teaser will do more justice to what’s in store rather than any written material – So, go ahead and watch it again and again – let it sink in before the real thing hits you, come July 7, 2017.
