Twitter to Fix Abusive Tweets Issue

Following on the heels of a promise he made at the end of January to make necessary changes to the social networking service, in order to tackle the menace of abusive and harassing tweets, Twitter Vice President of engineering, Ed Ho, announced three new features on Tuesday that will be incorporated into the service in the immediate future.

Ho had said that Twitter’s main aim, as of the moment, was to make Twitter abuse and harassment free and had even acknowledged its failure in not having controlled the abuse of the popular platform sooner.

We heard you, we didn’t move fast enough last year,” he had tweeted.” “Now we’re thinking about progress in days and hours, not weeks and months,” and true to his word, he announced Tuesday, the 3-pronged attack on abusive tweets, rampant harassment, and serial offenders who do not care if they have been blocked or muted – they simply open up new accounts and continue merrily with their nefarious online activities.

First up, Twitter plans to take the serial offender issue head-on by putting a system in place to stop banned users from coming back with a new account. Probably wary of twisted users who can, potentially, find a workaround, Twitter did not provide details of exactly how it planned to stop the creation of new accounts. Well, not many are worried about it as long as whatever Twitter is planning, checks, if not eliminates, the troll issue.

The second step in the anti-abuse measures will be the enhancement of its search capabilities so that abusive and obnoxious content do not show up in regular search results including messages from any user who has been blocked or muted by another.

“While this type of content will be discoverable if you want to find it, it won’t clutter search results any longer,” said the company’s post without giving a timeline.

The third tool will be a filtering system that will seek out and hide or collapse “abusive and low-quality” replies to tweets thereby saving space for the more deserving ones. However, to see the filtered tweets all the user has to do is click or tap the “show less relevant replies” button being included in the service.

Reportedly, Twitter plans to incorporate machine learning or artificial intelligence, if you will, to seek out “low quality” replies based on some type of flagging system. If a user gets a nasty reply to a tweet from a new account with zero followers it will be kind of a red flag for the system to hide the tweet.

It is heartening to see that Twitter is finally taking the abuse scourge very seriously and adopting ways to check it including the use of artificial intelligence. However, it has not yet set a time frame for the intended changes but one is tempted to hope that Twitter delivers on its promise of sorting out the abuse issues on a war footing.

The Two-Year Limit Has a Workaround According to Provisions in the SEC

The reports about a restriction of two years on Mark Zuckerberg serving as a government functionary while remaining with Facebook, which he founded, was a misinterpretation of the STATES SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION (SEC) documents.

Therefore, the apprehensions that had been circulating for a while that Mark Zuckerberg may have to quit Facebook to serve in the U.S. Government for an indefinite period of time has been laid to rest.

The question (Will Zuckerberg have to quit Facebook to serve in United States government?) has been answered with proper reference to the United States STATES SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION (SEC) documents.

A close and detailed scrutiny of the SEC documents by experts reveals that Zuckerberg has to fulfil only one of these two mandatory requirements below:

a. He needs to own enough Facebook stock – OR
b. Have the Facebook Board of Directors’ authorization (approval) to serve in the government

The third scenario would be to serve in the government for only two years should he fail or desist from meeting one of the two requirements for a life term government service – well, nobody would believe that Zuckerberg would be thrilled with the third option at his disposal.

In an earlier story on our website, titled “Mark Zuckerberg Builds AI Assistant for Home and Family” we had spoken about that particular achievement as one of his yearly resolves which he makes as a challenge to himself at the start of every year.

This is what he wrote on his Facebook post on Tuesday:

“Every year I take on a personal challenge to learn new things and grow outside of my work. In recent years, I’ve run 365 miles, built a simple AI for my home, read 25 books and learned Mandarin.

My personal challenge for 2017 is to have visited and met people in every state in the US by the end of the year.”

Now, the idea of resolving to meet people of every state in the U.S. in 2017 reflects his political ambitions, as interpreted by many.

Now, with the two-year-time-limit dilemma out of the way, is his FB post a not-so-subtle hint about his political dreams? Well, most speculate that it probably is!

The inadvertent, hopefully, misreporting or rather the misinterpretation of the SEC by publications such as Fortune, Vanity Fair, The Guardian, and TechCrunch may have risen from the court findings of the text messages exchanged between Zuckerberg and Andreessen.

The messages talk about a debate on the two-year limit with no mention of the other two, more feasible, alternatives available. TechCrunch, however, has acknowledged the discrepancy and issued a correction.

Coming back to Mark Zuckerberg’s political ambitions, the challenge he has set for himself to meet people from all states, “My work is about connecting the world and giving everyone a voice. I want to personally hear more of those voices this year.”

Sounds like a politically motivated challenge he has set for himself in 2017 – and why not? The United States is a free country and Mark Zuckerberg is no ordinary personality.

You can read Zuckerberg’s full post on Facebook, if you haven’t already, and judge for yourself.

As far as the writer’s opinion is concerned, and I am sure many would agree, it is not a bad idea at all to have a talent like Mark Zuckerberg in the government.

However, it’s not going to be an easy job to earn the faith of the people who still have the fake news scandal fresh in their minds – but Mark Zuckerberg has proved that he thrives on challenges and he has the talent and wherewithal to meet his 2017 resolution.

The massive philanthropy initiatives he has taken along with his wife Priscilla Chan and her foundation, the “Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative”, show that he has a genuine concern for people.

He has all the requisites to be as successful in government as he has been in his various ventures.

Consumer Reports Does Not Endorse the New MacBook Pro 2016

Apple’s MacBook Pro 2016, for the first time ever in its history, has not received ‘purchase recommendation’ by Consumer Reports after a series of tests conducted on the Pro showed inconsistencies in its battery life.

The tests revealed that the battery life “varied dramatically” over a series of tests run on it.

According to Consumer Reports, the maximum margin of battery-life variation should be less than five percent from test to test.

However, in the case of the MacBook Pro 2016, the tests showed ‘disparate’ fluctuations as a result of which the average battery life could not be determined, something that most consumers would like to know before purchasing the product.

What exactly is Consumer Reports?

Consumer Reports is an American Magazine that has been in publication since 1936 by Consumers Union, a non-profit organization that recommends policy decisions with regards to telecommunication, mass media, health care, vehicle safety, product safety, food safety, housing etc.

Ever since the Consumers Union was founded it has continued the publication of the magazine until 2012, when they decided to create a spinoff company and called it Consumer Reports to continue its legacy of product research, testing and reporting through their monthly publication of the Consumer Reports magazine and through its website, as well.

This move enabled the Consumers Union to wholly concentrate on advocacy of policy issues. Their mission is to encourage constructive policies in the interest of consumers.

Coming back to the negative report the MacBook Pro 2016 received in the Consumer Reports magazine, and on their website, was the result of a low battery score which was the only factor for the non-recommendation – “Consumer Reports finds that all three MacBook Pro laptops fail to meet our standards for recommended models,” reads the report.

“Complaints about MacBook Pro batteries have been popping up online since the laptops first went on sale in November,” the report states. “Apple says that these computers should operate for up to 10 hours between charges, but some consumers in Apple’s support forums reported that they were only able to use their laptops for three to four hours before the battery ran down.”

Apple, so far at least, has refrained from commenting on the Consumer Reports’ results, simply stating that customers with issues with their new MacBook Pro should contact AppleCare for a resolution.

This is what Apple’s exact statement was: “Any customer who has a question about their Mac or its operation should contact AppleCare.”

Without getting into the monotonous detailed statistical readings of the tests on the batteries, one may feel that Apple’s reputation has been tarnished to a little extent.

However, one is also forced to believe that the record and reputation that back Apple products will remain intact, and the issue facing Apple now, will not be much of a problem for the technological giant to find a fix for.

There is a reputation to maintain, a legacy of the late Steve Jobs to upkeep, and under Tim Cook, the company has continued to thrive although he has a different approach as the CEO of Apple when compared to Steve Jobs.

As far as his own impression of Jobs is concerned, “To me, Steve’s not replaceable — by anyone,” Cook had told Jena McGregor of The Washington Post back in August 2016.

Princess Kate Sparkles at the Annual White Tie Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, and Princess Kate, attended the Annual White Tie Diplomatic Reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace on December 8, 2016. They were accompanied by the Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.

The glamorous and regal white tie affair, also known as the ‘full evening dress,’ is one of the most formal dress codes in the western world. Generally, in such events, women wear full-length evening or ball gown and, optionally, jewelry, tiaras, a small bag and evening gloves.

Kate wore the Lover’s Knot tiara, which was one of Princess Diana’s favourite headpieces.

Likewise, gentlemen are attired as formally as the ladies in attendance, in white starched shirts, Marcella waistcoats, and the iconic white bow tie worn around a detachable collar. High-waisted black trousers and patent leather shoes complete the outfit. The odd top hat and white scarf are acceptable accessories.

This year, the Duchess of Cambridge, now Princess Kate since her marriage to Prince William, looked stunning and regal in a red dress by designer Jenny Packham, the same she chose for her first state dinner with the Chinese President.

The headpiece she wore, again not for the first time, the famous pearl-and-diamond-clad Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara, given to the late Princess Diana by the Queen in 1981, along with her diamond chandelier earrings, just added to the glamor.

Diana Princess of Wales was given the Cambridge Lover's Knot tiara by the Queen in 1981

The Queen looked very much the part (Queen and host) in a white dress designed by Angela Kelly and her diamond and sapphire tiara, while the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, looked no less elegant clad in a white beaded gown by Bruce Oldfield and Boucheron tiara, a pearl choker and diamond earrings.

This year’s December white-tie diplomatic reception witnessed Prince Philip – the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles – the Prince of Wales, and Prince William – the Duke of Cambridge in white ties with the Order of the Garter. Unlike State Banquets, as this is the grandest event, the Royal gentlemen wear knee-britches and the actual Garter with the sash over their white tie.

The diplomatic reception, hosted annually by the Queen, is a white-tie affair attended by the Royal Family members and guests including diplomats and royalties from other nations.

This year was no different – in attendance, among the senior members of the Royal Family, were Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Phillip, Princess Kate, and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla along with over one thousand guests from 130 nations.

In addition to ambassadors, high commissioners, and their partners, about six hundred foreign diplomats, based in London, were among the guests together with around three hundred British diplomats and senior figures from commerce, education, broadcasting and the arts.

It has been a private event for many years and usually pictures of the event are not released. However, this year the Royal Family account on Twitter, much to the delight of those interested in such events, did release a group photo prior to the reception.

Decades of Diplomacy in the Dumps Due to Trump’s Calls to World Leaders

The much talked about ‘conflicts of interest’ by the media, politicians, diplomats, and the common man is proving to be a real and present danger due to Trump’s random calls to world leaders thereby threatening to upset decades of diplomacy and foreign policies.

In one of his calls he displayed open admiration for one of the world’s most passionate dictators, the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev and announced his desire to visit Pakistan, a country which President Obama stayed away from for the entire duration of his two-term presidency about to culminate next month.

According to the Kazakh Government’s statement on the call, Donald Trump has reportedly stressed that under the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev, our country over the years of independence had achieved a fantastic success that can be called a ‘miracle.’

President-elect Donald Trump’s call to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan is likely to upset the already fragile relations between India and Pakistan as both countries vie for stronger ties with the U.S. leadership.

In a rare development, a telephone conversation between a Pakistani leader and an American one became a headline the world
Telephone conversation between a Pakistani leader and an American one became a headline the world

This is a clear deviation from the norms set by previous governments and could potentially “upset the delicate balance” between the two neighbors according to the New York Times. He is reported to have called Nawaz Sharif a “terrific” person and Pakistan and its people “fantastic.” What happened to his anti-Muslim anti-terrorism campaign stance?

Again, Mr. Trump’s telephonic conversation with the President of Taiwan, Tsai Ing-wen, an unprecedented move since 1979 when the U.S. had disengaged ties with Taiwan as a show of support for China, could be worrisome for China and has the potential to upset the status quo.

His call to the Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has raised many an eyebrow because of grave accusations of human rights violations against the man, his unparliamentary language against President Obama calling him a “son of a bitch” and his declaration of separation from the U.S. in a recent trip to Beijing. Not only this, he went as far as inviting the controversial Duterte to the United States.

“If you travel to the U.S., you should let me know,” Trump has been reported to have said to the British Prime Minister, Theresa May and later tweeted that the anti-immigrant leader Nigel Farge should be made ambassador to Washington totally against the diplomatic code of behaviour for a soon to be President of the U.S.

Another conspicuous deviation from diplomatic protocol was his daughter, Ivanka Trump attending his meeting with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, an eye-popper for many in the diplomatic circle.

If these controversial and under-the-scanner calls are not conflicts of interest then what exactly are they, is the multi-billion- dollar question. He has audaciously made it obvious and crystal clear that these calls were more for the enhancement of his business empire than anything else.

The only option left to Trump to counter these allegations and silence his critics and detractors is to sell his business or put it in a real blind trust, and not in one of his versions of a blind trust.

Mr. President-elect, the world is watching!

Instagram Rolls Out Live Ephemeral Video and Messaging

Facebook-owned Instagram has launched its version of the live video with features that will allow users to interact with their contacts on Instagram in an ephemeral sense, in that, it allows users to share photos and videos that will disappear after they see them.

However, there are no time limits on how long they can be viewed in a single sitting. You’ll also be notified when the person you’re messaging takes a screenshot or replays your message. Essentially, it is the perfect answer to Snapshot which provides similar features to its users where you can send disappearing photo and video messages to a friend, or groups of friends using the Stories camera.

Instagram Live lets you broadcast video to your followers in real-time, but they can only watch while you’re still streaming; once the streaming stops it can’t be replayed. It is a deviation from the version introduced earlier this year by its parent company, Facebook.

“Instagram is going from a place to share highlights to a place where you can share all of the moments of your day in a pressure-free space,” Instagram’s head of product Kevin Weil said in an interview. He said that the new Instagram features were attracting people of all ages and demographics.

“Now we’re launching live video in Instagram Stories and a totally new Instagram Direct,” Weil continued. “They’re both about being about to share the moments of your day with exactly the audience you want to share with.”

The two new Snapchat-like features of disappearing messages and the ability to broadcast live video have seen a sharp rise in the number of Instagram users globally. Both features announced Monday are intended “to give people the flexibility to capture and share all their moments in a fun, low-pressure way,” according to an Instagram spokesperson.

The app’s algorithms will notify the people you interact with the most when you go live and show popular broadcasts as they’re happening in the Explore section.

Instagram has put in place certain checks in order to make live streaming safer for users. Hosts of live videos can easily see the username and profile photo of whoever is watching their stream. And if viewers make any inappropriate or indecent comments, the host can hide individual comments, disable all commenting or throw individual users out of the stream. When live broadcast ends, users can see the stream duration and a total number of viewers.

The Facebook-owned app is further encroaching on Snapchat's territory.
The Facebook-owned app is further entrench on Snapchat’s territory.

In addition to ephemeral messaging, Instagram’s new live video features will be somewhat like Snapchat’s playbook. Shilpa Sarkar, the product manager for Instagram live, said the team drew inspiration from the way live video has emerged as a way that young people spend time together.

“The use case that caught our attention was people just hanging out on live, particularly young people,” she said. “After school, they jump on a live stream and hang out. That use of live is particularly interesting to us.”

The specialty of Instagram’s ephemeral Live and Direct updates is the total control of hosts over their audience. Knowing who is watching your live stream and the choice it gives you to decide who can watch is an attractive privacy feature. It means no one can snoop without the host knowing about it. It gives you the freedom to be yourself by choosing who you want yourself to be around.

Earthquake in New Zealand – Thousands Stranded

Past midnight, Monday morning, a devastating earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale, hit New Zealand’s south island causing massive destruction to infrastructure and property; more importantly, two human lives were lost in the first hit.

The epicenter of the earthquake was near Kaikoura, almost half way between Kaikoura and Christchurch. According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred 14 miles below the surface near the South Island.

What was to follow was a series of aftershocks of substantial magnitudes, some of them as high as 6.5. There were reports of 80, 000 to 100,000 landslides as a result of the aftershocks. Tremors were felt as far away as Wellington in the North Island.

The defence force of NZ posted aerial shots of “massive rockfalls in several areas in the upper South Island” on their Facebook page including some more posts relating to the quake and the rescue efforts underway. One of the posts read:

“The New Zealand Defence Force has mobilized multiple assets including personnel and at least three of its aircraft to support the Government’s response to the massive 7.5 earthquake that slammed North Canterbury early on Monday.

Photos taken from a Royal New Zealand Air Force NH90 helicopter show massive rockfalls in several areas in the upper South Island.” The aerial photographs of these landslides were uploaded below the post.

Tsunami warnings were sounded off by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre. According to them the tsunami that was generated was 8.2 feet above normal tide level. Civil Defence Controller John Mackie said that an estimated 20,000 people have been evacuated from coastal communities following the quake.

The worst hit area is the coastal town of Kaikoura, which has been isolated from the rest of the country. There are more than 1000 people, mostly tourists, estimated to be trapped in Kaikoura. It may take up to four days before all those stranded are safely airlifted. NZHMS Canterbury of the country’s navy will deliver supplies and help with the evacuation too.

The affected people are without water, electricity, and telecommunication. The rescue authorities are making every attempt to bring the situation back to normalcy. Meanwhile, evacuation attempts are on with the help of military choppers and a naval ship to rescue the people stranded in the town of Kaikoura.

Acting Civil Defence Minister Gerry Brownlee said during a press conference, “There will be a lot of people out there very unnerved by this. The sort of holding hand you can put out to anyone who is distressed would be very welcome.”

According to an AP report, a huge number of citizens of inner city Wellington, probably in the thousands, left their homes for safer areas in the city. The NZ Prime minister John Key is said to have missed a call from Donald Trump as he was caught up in dealing with the disaster, although the call had been prearranged. This is what the NZ PM had to say about the diplomatic gaffe to the New Zealand Herald:

“What happened was there was a bit of a discussion between my office and his office on Saturday about a call,” he said. “We weren’t strictly sure when the president-elect was going to ring, they said it was in the next couple of hours.”

“I didn’t see the call when it came in, in the hurly burly of things I didn’t notice,” he said. “They then made contact with our foreign affairs people and said they had tried to call and hadn’t been successful.”

Although the earthquake was of a greater intensity than the one which hit Christchurch in 2011, fortunately, the destruction was lesser in proportion. Presumably, the reason, loss of life was not as high as the Christchurch quake of 2011, was the timing.

The first quake on Monday happened after midnight when people were safely in bed. The Christchurch quake of 2011, on the other hand, occurred at 12.51 in the afternoon, local time, killing 185 people. Situated in the “collision zone” between the Indo-Australian and Pacific tectonic plates.

New Zealand has a long history of earthquakes of varying magnitudes. It is reported that GNS Science locates over 15,000 earthquakes in New Zealand annually. About 100 – 150 of these quakes are large enough to be felt – the others that are not felt are recorded by seismographs.

The Supermoon After a Gap of 68 Years

What is a supermoon and why does it happen? Also known as the Beaver moon, it’s nothing but an infrequent occurrence when the moon’s proximity to the earth is at its maximum. Hence, the moon, earth’s only natural satellite, will appear to be larger to us than it normally does.

The last time earthlings witnessed the supermoon was as far back as 1948. As reported by NASA the year 2016 will be witness to not one but three supermoons. One has already been observed on October 16, 2016. The next one will be witnessed from earth on November 14th and again on December 14th.

While the supermoon is a not so frequent occurrence, last observed in 1948, three supermoons in one calendar year is a big rarity. The next supermoon as predicted by scientists is supposed to happen in the year 2034.

According to scientists, the supermoon occurs because of the elliptical shape of the moon’s orbit around our planet. As the moon goes around the earth along the oval shaped orbit it is sometimes closer to the earth and at times farther away.

Comparing the Moon at apogee vs. perigee
Comparing the Moon at apogee vs. perigee

When the moon is closest to the earth in its orbit it is called perigee and at its farthest point in the orbit, it is an apogee. The difference in the size of the perigee full moon and the normal full moon will not be enormous.

The frenzy and hype about supermoons are exaggerated according to Neil deGrasse Tyson, an American astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, and science communicator. ”If you have a 16-inch pizza, would you call it a super pizza compared with a 15-inch pizza?” deGrasse said on the StarTalk radio program.

However, there is no denying the fact that it will be the largest and brightest supermoon of the 21st, century. The best view of the supermoon will be from tall skyscrapers or from a place where the surroundings are not very brightly lit up – the darker your surroundings the better the view of the supermoon you can get.

It is a well-known fact that the moon affects the tides on earth. The full moon brings higher than normal tides during the 12 hour high tide cycle. Similarly, during the low tide period, the tides are lower than usual. However, during a perigee moon, the high tides are at its highest and low tides at its lowest.

Whatever the level of interest of the people in the supermoon, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to go out and marvel at the beauty of this cosmic phenomenon.

Top 5 Ways To Get Rid Of Depression Naturally

When you’re depressed, it often feels like nothing in the world can make you feel better. Depression drains your energy, hope, and drive. It’s almost as if you are in a black tunnel with no light. Hope disappears and the things you used to find enjoyable become a chore.

It is true that depression isn’t necessarily something you can banish in an instant, however, a set of coping strategies and awareness can help you to help yourself.

Tears are healthy. Sadness doesn’t always need treatment. Before you dose up on side-effect laden pharmaceuticals, it’s worth considering some natural treatments that might help lift your mood.

#1 Stay Connected

Family & Friends
Family & Friends

This can be one of the hardest things to do when feeling depressed but it is one of the most rewarding activities. Even reaching out to close family members and friends can be tough. When you feel bad, even if you feel embarrassed, confiding in a friend or voicing your struggles can lighten your burden and begin a process of ending your unhappiness. Be around people who can make you laugh when you don’t even feel like smiling. Staying connected to other people and the outside world will make a world of difference in your mood and outlook. Friends and family, especially those who care about you, will appreciate knowing what’s going on.

#2 Sleep

Have a good sleep
Have a good sleep

Sleep is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. The link between depression and lack of sleep is well established. Inadequate sleep can cause irritability and stress, while healthy sleep can enhance well-being. The quality of your sleep directly affects the quality of your waking life, including your mental sharpness, productivity, emotional balance, creativity, physical vitality. Go to sleep at the same time each night and get up at the same time each day; move from the bed when not sleeping; calm down and rest in the period before sleep. Good sleep is restful and uninterrupted, muscles are relaxed. Your body’s cells produce and store proteins to renew and restore all of your systems. No other activity delivers so many benefits with so little effort so aim for between 7.5 and 9 hours sleep per night.

#3 Write About It

Depression often causes problems of expression. Expression of feelings is important. It’s part of being depression. Sometimes when things are bottled up and repressed there needs to be a valve letting these out. Putting those feelings into words makes it easier to understand, Writing to confront unexpressed feeling helps do that by providing a sense of direction and meaning. There is an emotional completeness achieved by the ability to express and explain. The words help to organize and simplify the experience. When you have the ability to explain something in words, you feel more confident that you really understand it. Writing is a great way to complain about troubles and relationships. You can easily give yourself permission to blame and vent but not to reflect on what you are feeling and doing.

#4 Take On Responsibilities

You are not powerless
You are not powerless

When you’re depressed your energy levels can drop drastically, but the last thing you want to do when feeling down is to keep yourself from getting up. The moment you take back full responsibility in your life is the moment when you regain your power again. Taking full responsibility for your life means you are no longer running away—from yourself, your dreams, your hopes, frustrations, and fears. Staying active in your life, pursuing anything and everything you may find of interest will re-ignite your spark and keep you on your own side. Activities that help you calm down and that raise your spirits are important. Reflect back on your life so far and look at the defining moments.

#5 Develop An Attitude Of Gratitude

Be Grateful
Be Grateful

Research suggests that for many, gratitude is a road to greater happiness. Gratitude works when you’re grateful for something real. Recent studies have concluded that the expression of gratitude can have profound and positive effects on our health, our moods. It’s nice to count your blessings on Thanksgiving, being thankful throughout the year could have tremendous benefits on your quality of life. Recognizing all you have to be thankful for even during the worst times of your life Gratitude reduces a multitude of toxic emotions, ranging from envy and resentment to frustration and regret. We all have the ability and opportunity to cultivate gratitude. Simply take a few moments to focus on all that you have – rather than complain about all the things you think you deserve.
